FINAL DESIGN
This assignment was similar to one we had done last year in computer graphics 1, the difference in this one though is that we couldn't manipulate the shape of the letters in our animal/object. Like last year, we were to pick an animal or object of our choosing and use the letters in its name to recreate it in an artistic way. Also unlike last year, we would be working in Adobe Illustrator CS3, where last year we worked in Photoshop. I decided to make a shark, in a way i was inspired to do it because of an inside joke me and a friend has made the previous night. Actually making the shape wasn't difficult at all, not even making the jaws. Th difficult part was filling it in and deciding what letters and colors to use. In the end i decided to use a shade of gray on multiple S's, it came out better than i expected and somewhat gives the shark a scaly look, giving my shark somewhat of a texture. And i hoped to create color contrast with the color used for the underbelly and the color i used for the outline of the shark (a dark blue). My final design accurately represent my sketch because i was able to create the image I had deemed my best sketch and make it better using the colors and letter use i chose.
